The Plot

The plot is a murky one, smoke and mirrors as they say. Or perhaps that is just what certain characters in the story believe at different points. We begin in a pub with a rather hapless, unnamed man. He is there not so much to make or strike a deal—that has already been done—no, he is there because he hopes to pick up payment for what he is about to do. Unfortunately, the path of a traitor never runs true. And so begins the twisting tale.

The Petticoat Searchers may, on the surface, seem a straightforward crime story. However, scratch beneath the surface, and there is more. This is a story about trust, belief, lies, subterfuge too, and what people will do in the pursuit of ambition. It is about the folly of entitlement and hubris.
